A school focused on college preparation and vocational training, specifically designed for middle school students interested in exploring collegiate business studies and related professional fields.

At MBLI, we believe that students experience the most success, academically personally, and socially, in school environments where the expectations are clear and consistent, and where they are known — not just by fellow students, but by the entire school staff, and the community-at-large. The business learning focus — embedded in MBLI’s mission and vision — will span the entire education program and curriculum. Additionally, MBLI will augment instruction in the core and encore (supplemental academic subject areas) to include connections to and topics in business, similar to that of a collegiate business school. To this end, MBLI will use grounded and driven inquiry-based collaborative learning approaches to enhance students’ critical thinking and problem-solving skills and hone their ability to think creatively, adventurously, collaboratively, and independently.

Exciting news: Charter approvals are secured!

MBLI is set to launch two campuses in 2025, one in Montgomery County, Maryland, and another in Berkeley County, West Virginia. Starting with grades 6 and 7, each school plans to expand by adding a new grade every year. MBLI is committed to being an inclusive educational institution, welcoming all students, including those at-risk, English Language Learners, and students with a range of abilities and disabilities.
